![]() ![]() ![]() Worst thing is it wasn’t enough for him to ruin other people’s games, he also had to be toxic about it, so when one of my teammates got sniped by him at the beginning he typed in match chat “I’m playing at 30 fps, if you get killed by me you should be ashamed of yourself” or emoting on people after killing them. So I realized most of the games I was having there in bronze were basically smurf wars where you had to hope the best smurf was in your team… Most of these smurfs weren’t crazy pros or anything like that, probably high plat/diamond at max, but still I only felt like the victory or loss of a match was depending by my performance in 1/10th of the match, I was pretty annoyed at this but I wasn’t extremely mad, because you find lots of smurfs in silver and gold as well, not as many as in bronze but still… Nothing that I wasn’t used to.Īt some point though I got placed in a match against this level 90 Ana player: I checked his profile (which was shamelessly open) and this guy was placed almost grandmaster in open queue but 800 SR on support I’m going to start saying that I have two different accounts: my oldest account is currently in bronze because I had no idea of how to play the game at the beginning and after a few seasons I decided to roll a new account (which is now my main) in order to get new placement matches and its current rank in high silver/low gold.Ī few days ago I thought that it would’ve been cool to climb my oldest account to a similar rank than the one I currently am on my main (note that what I’m doing isn’t smurfing: there’s a difference between wanting to grow an old account getting matched against players who are slightly less skilled than you and INTENTIONALLY throwing hundreds of games to find yourself in such a low elo just for the taste of destroying new players/bad players) I’ve uninstalled Overwatch and decided to quit it permanently because the situation is truly ridiculous.
